The Partner day with preparatory baking activities in Ulm was on Saturday, 14th July 2018. The baked goods were for the Danube Bridge Breakfast.

Baking House Seissen /Municipality of Blaubeuren

| What they did | They got to know each other by baking together in the old backing house of Seissen and telling about traditions of bread. After tasting together the common good, they made a short visit to the lovely center of Blaubeuren and the Blautopf. |

| What they did | They were got to know each other by baking together, they baked bread and simple cakes. Afterwards they went to SWR together to the founding meeting “Soroptimists along the Danube” |

Social projects of Red Cross Ulm: Tafelladen and Übernachtungsheim (homeless shelter) |

| What they did | They visited the “Tafelladen” and “Kleideroase” first. Kleideroase is a shop for second hand clothes and the guide explained the reasons for both shops in the rich country Germany and the situation in Ulm/Germany for poor people. After this, they went to the “Übernachtungsheim”, where the poorest people live. The guide knows this house very well because she is the manager of it. Mrs. Ambacher told about the problems to get a flat, especially in Ulm, and the situation in this house and the situation for the people that are living in this house. |
